VA education benefits help Veterans, service members, and their qualified family members with needs like paying college tuition, finding the right school or training program, and getting career counseling. Learn how to apply for and manage the education and training benefits you've earned.

The fastest way to apply for educational benefits is through the VA website. Simply go the va.gov and click on the "sign-in" button in the upper right corner of the webpage. If you do not have an account with the VA already you can create one by selecting Create an ID.me account. The process is not very difficult, this video will help you create your own access to the VA benefits world.

If you are not computer savvy you can go into the links to the left for the educational benefit that you will be applying for and find the link to the paper application. Just print out the application, ensure you sign it, and forward it to the St. Louis regional office:

Not sure which you are eligible for? Just check each page out for eligibility. If you qualify for two programs, you can use the GI Bill comparison tool on the va.gov website to help you. Also, when you talk to a school Veteran Coordinator they will be able to help you make a decision based on their vast knowledge of the different programs at the school, the cost, and the GI Bill benefits.
