About the Area
The Steinhaugen property is located at 3485 Bentley Road, Custer, WI, seven miles northeast of Stevens Point. This 270-acre property is a diverse, high-quality natural area with the Plover River, North Star Creek, wetlands, upland hardwood forest, pine plantations, prairie, and open fields. The area is managed as a silent sport and public hunting area. Hiking, snowshoeing, and ungroomed cross-country ski trails exist.
