Justice Programs
Mission Statement
To achieve justice for the community, victims, and offenders through effective and appropriate responses to crime and its prevention. Decision-making will be based on collaboration, cooperation, objective data, and proper stewardship of resources.
Justice Programs is responsible for the following committees: Justice Coalition, Justice Coalition Executive Committee, and several other justice-related work groups as needed.
Adult Drug Treatment Court
Portage County Adult Drug Treatment Court provides individuals the opportunity to change life circumstances and become alcohol and drug-free.
Day Report Program
The Day Report Program provides for routine/random reporting and monitoring of participants through alcohol and drug testing.
Justice Coalition
The Portage County Justice Coalition is an advisory body with the charter to achieve justice for the community, victims, and offenders, through effective and appropriate responses to crime and its prevention.
Post-Sentence Supervision Program
The Post-Sentence Supervision Program provides intensive supervision to intervene and monitor client compliance with court-ordered conditions through assessment, case management, supervision, education, and referral to community resources.
Pretrial Supervision Program
The Post-Sentence Supervision Program provides intensive supervision to intervene and monitor client compliance with court-ordered conditions through assessment, case management, supervision, education, and referral to community resources.
