Programs for Children with Special Needs
Case management and Service Coordination services are provided to children with developmental, physical, and emotional disabilities. These services are designed to support children’s long-term needs while supporting families’ efforts to maintain care of their children in their homes.

Birth to Three
The Wisconsin Early Intervention Program is known as the Birth to Three program. Birth to Three staff, trained in assessing and evaluating the developmental, strengths, and needs of very young children, determine if a child is eligible for the program.

Children's Community Options Program (CCOP)
Children's Community Options Program is a funding source that may be used to reimburse parents for out-of-pocket expenses related to the child's disability that is not covered by private insurance or Medicaid. It may also be used as the county contribution for locally matched waivers.

Children's Long Term Support (CLTS)
The Children's Long Term Support Waiver Program is for children with developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and severe emotional disturbances.

Comprehensive Community Services (CCS)
Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) is a program designed for individuals with mental health and substance abuse needs, who are living in the community.

Coordinated Services Team (CST)
The Coordinated Services Team is available for children and families who are involved in two or more service systems or are at risk of out-of-home placement.
