The Emergency Management Division of the Sheriff's Office has been assigned the mission of coordinating both search and rescue (SAR) activities, as well as recovery operations. It will be their responsibility to plan for, organize, coordinate, direct, and recover from these important activities. Working very closely with other emergency response agencies, as well as Federal, State, and non-profit organizations, Emergency Management personnel will play a key and pivotal role.
