Classes - Programs - Activities

Lincoln Center offers a diverse selection of educational, health, fitness, creative arts, and recreational classes and activities. Offerings include classes in writing, foreign languages, several arts and crafts, a driver refreLincoln Center Senior Center Activitiessher course, and lectures on environmental issues and international concerns. Senior Center programming provides health information and screenings, exercise for all fitness levels, and recreational leagues. New classes and programs are continually developed in response to needs.

Any Portage County citizen age 55 and over or adult with a disability is eligible to participate in classes, programs, and activities. There is no membership charge, but some classes require a fee to cover costs.

Evidence-Based Health Programs are educational workshops based on data collected by scientific studies. Evidence shows that participation in these programs can prevent disease and improve health. To learn more about these programs including upcoming workshops, check the Summary Sheet (PDF).

The Senior Center Manager is happy to answer your questions and acquaint you with Lincoln Center classes and activities. Tours are available upon request. Drop in any time during business hours to read a magazine or newspaper in the lounge, watch a favorite program, browse in the Holly Shoppe, play a game of cards, see the monthly art gallery exhibition, or take a break for refreshments at the Coffee Stop. Newcomers are always welcome! The atmosphere is casual and you'll quickly make new friends.
